Our story

The faces behind Dander.

We're Martin & Mary, the two people pouring your coffees (and likely chatting your ear off at the same time).

We spent the second half of last year living in Sydney and fell in love with the coffee culture there.

When we came home, we knew we wanted to bring a little piece of that lifestyle with us, and so, Dander was born.

We're passionate about creating a space where everyone feels welcome. We believe good coffee is really about bringing people together.

People first. Coffee always.

Proud to be deaf-friendly

Mary started learning sign language 3 years ago and has loved every minute of it. The deaf community is always welcome at Dander.

Thanks to our friends from our first summer: @igloopizzaco, @lacadabrewery, @portrushsurfschool, @vittlebakeshop, @awakennorthcoast and @_thebreathing_room (The Breathing Room), who we've hosted Pilates on the Beach with.
